Resonate Search and Selection - Retrospective 2017 Year Summary

2017 Saw Our Work Continue With Superb Businesses

Our professional approach to recruitment resonates so well with a variety of firms. We’ve continued to provide support to leading companies including the large venue management firm SMG Europe, Convenience store giant Spar and popular food innovators such as Haribo Plc and Pipers Crisps.

As well as being a trusted partner to the firms we’ve developed strong relationships with over the years, we’re also very excited to have been engaged by several new clients in 2017 too. We’re pleased to now be working with businesses such as Integrated Food Projects and Your Housing Group on their search and selection requirements.

Senior Level Recruitment

Year on year we’re trusted by firms ranging from SMEs to Multinational household names to work on their senior level vacancies. 2017 was no exception. We supported clients with several Manager and Director level assignments across core business disciplines including C-level, sales and marketing, finance, operations and more.

Our genuine interest and expertise in sectors such as FMCG, Retail, Leisure, Not-For-Profit, Construction and Housing, amongst others, drives us to find and support the best businesses and candidates.

One of our favourite projects during 2017 was for one of the new clients we mentioned a little earlier; Your Housing Group. Thanks to our strong, demonstrable, track record, Your Housing Group trusted us to source and secure a new Managing Director for their in-house contracting division. After a thorough search and selection process we were delighted to place Guy Beddington into the role and we’re sure he will be a great success there.

We Helped Raise Money For Charity

The team here at Resonate Search and Selection were very proud to support our colleague, Therese Engall, as she embarked on the ‘Go Sober For October’ challenge.

‘Go Sober For October’ is a fantastic, MacMillan supported, scheme to raise money for cancer. The idea is to go through the whole month of October without drinking to raise awareness and money for MacMillan Cancer Support.

An additional benefit of going through ‘Ocsober’ includes potential improvements to your own health and wellbeing. A better nights sleep and improved energy levels are just two of the things you’ll notice, if you have a month off the booze. The amount of money saved by not picking up a bottle wine when visiting the supermarket can also mount up and bring a smile to the face too!

Therese did a great job and we’re pleased to report she stayed true to the cause. Her commitment and determination to the ‘Go Sober For October’ program led to more than £600 being raised for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity. An excellent result, we’re sure you’ll agree.

Whilst 2017 already feels a long time ago, everyone here at Resonate Search and Selection can look back fondly on the year with a great sense of pride. We’re committed to making sure 2018 is even better too.
